Workshop: Herbal support through repression
This workshop is for anyone experiencing repression due to their work for liberation, as well as those involved in anti-repression and solidarity efforts. It explores how state and systematic repression impact the nervous system, body, and overall health, and how herbal medicine can offer support in both the short and long term. From calming acute anxiety to rebuilding after burnout, trauma, or imprisonment, herbs have a vital role to play in sustaining resistance. The session shares practical examples of herbal solidarity from supporting people post-arrest and in court, to navigating incarceration and healing after release. Grounded in lived experience and collective care, this workshop aims to nourish movements as much as bodies. With Nicole Rose from Solidarity Apothecary.
Followed by a herbal walk:
We would like to discuss herbal medicine together in order to acquire the means for a more self-determined life. In the second part, we invite all those who are active and organised in herbal medicine or health projects to a network meeting.
Lecture: The church and fascism: Resistance against clerical fascism
We are Vrrrane, an autonomous, self-organized group of queer anarchist feminists from Zagreb who oppose the rise of fascism. In Croatia, there has been an increase in public events that attack the right to abortion or self-determination over our trans, queer, and cis bodies. Examples include the “Knier” (a clerical-fascist group of cis men who publicly pray on their knees for the subjugation of women), a recent Thompson concert attended by half a million supporters of the Ustaša Nazi regime, and increasing racism against Roma and migrant communities. In our lecture, we will talk about the current rise of clerical fascism in Croatia and its connection to imperialism. Because there can be no victory against fascism until we tear down the walls of Europe. Free Palestine
Lecture + Workshop Session: „I never gave my consent to be governed!“ A queer-anarchist analysis of patriarchy and state feminism
Why can state feminism (both liberal and Marxist) not abolish patriarchy but instead stabilizes and strengthens it? Why is it itself patriarchal? Why do state feminism and patriarchal movements reinforce each other?
We’ll analyze patriarchy from a queer-anarchist perspective, followed by an examination of state feminism. We will also explore why, due to its own internal logic, state feminism repeatedly becomes hostile toward trans* people and sex workers.
Concluding with a workshop session, in which small groups will develop ideas on how we can self-organize against patriarchy in different areas of life without relying on the state.
Panel: Pride!
Prides events have become one of the most visible moments of queer resistance internationally. No matter where we are, we find queers taking to the streets together to fight for recognition, rights or social change. But in many places, prides are confronted with repression and attacks. By the state, the police, liberal structures and the right. The panel will ask questions about experiences and strategies to people from Budapest, Zagreb and Dresden, in the hope of learning from and supporting each other.
Lecture: Belarusian dictatorship and the struggle against it: A presentation by ABC Belarus
A 2 hour presentation on the history of current Belarusian dictatorship, anarchist struggle against it, the current political situation in Belarus, and ABC Belarus‘ analysis of the possible futures. We will cover the factors that helped Lukashenko to establish power, the current actors in the region, the repressive tactics of the Belarusian government, the state of Belarusian anarchism, what’s happening right now politically and what outcomes it can lead to.
Reading & discussion: Parenting and repression
-open call-
In this event, we would like to invite you to discuss the topics of repression and children. People who have children themselves, take responsibility for children or live with them often find themselves in a dilemma. In order to protect children, the risks of political activism must be carefully assessed. Former Basque prisoner Nekane Txapartegi will present her children’s book „Wie viel mal schlafen“ [„How many times to sleep“], which she wrote with her daughter. In it, they address the relationship between mother and daughter beyond the prison walls. Afterwards, the space will be opened up for a joint discussion at eye level. Here we want to exchange strategies and learn from the experiences of others.
Film Screening & Discussion: An Island and One Night
France · 2021-23 · 100′ · directed by Pirates of the Lentillères
Around the fire, travellers and pirates recount their memories, their dreams, their battles. From one language to another, from story to story, we hear the roar of the storm and the rustle of the leaves, the menacing sirens and the wild dances, the clash of the swords and the song of the birds. Until dawn, a thousand and one paths take shape on this imaginary yet real island. An Island and One Night is a fictional film made collectively over the past two years by the residents and users of the Quartier Libre des Lentillères, a self-organized area extending on the last remaining market garden land in the city of Dijon.

Workshop: Digital Security
1*1 – Protection against Bluetooth and GPS trackers. It’s not just the government and corporations that want to know where we are and what we’re doing. Even in our private and semi-private lives, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to escape social and digital surveillance. FLINTA* are particularly affected by digital violence and digital stalking; AirTags & co have been especially notorious in this regard in recent years. The workshop by “Ein Team – gegen digitale Gewalt” (One Team – Against Digital Violence) aims to raise awareness of current problems in violence protection through trackers and to present possible ways of protection.
The event is FLINTA* only; endo-cis men are kindly requested to refrain from attending.
Storytelling & Q&A: Femme, queer et sans papier
Two members of the Lesvos LGBTIQ+ Refugee Solidarity Network will speak about their experiences and share how the network operates and was founded — offering mutual support, solidarity, and advocacy for queer people on the move. The network emerged as a grassroots response to the injustice and neglect that they, along with many others, witnessed and experienced on Lesvos.
„We will be participating by sharing our personal stories and experiences of crossing borders, shedding light on the violence and challenges we faced along the way. Through storytelling, we aim to highlight the harsh realities of border regimes and the resilience it took to survive. We’ll also speak about how we eventually found safety and built a sense of belonging within a supportive community. After sharing our journey, we will open the space for a Q&A session where everyone is welcome to ask questions, engage in dialogue, and reflect together.“ — Lesvos LGBTIQ+ Refugee Solidarity Network
Discussion round: How to: Build a mmutual aid network
– open-call –
Mutual aid has always been part of resistance move- ments. Where the state (intentionally) fails and mar- ginalized groups are left alone with their experi- ences of oppression, people often step in to support each other and be there for one another. From or- ganizing hormones and medications, to finding jobs and housing, to fighting bureaucratic nightmares, to providing emotional support in everyday life.
In some contexts, people have come together to collectively organize mutual aid as a practice of resistance. Groups that work in this area will intro- duce themselves and talk about their goals, desires, and challenges. This will be followed by a joint dis- cussion on the question: How can we build and strengthen mutual aid networks? So that together we can be dangerous!
Queers & Palestine
An exchange with comrades from Ljubljana on the intersection of queer resistance and Palestine ac- tivism, followed by a group discussion.
What connects queer and anti-patriarchal struggles with the Palestinian liberation struggle, historically and in the present? What are the patriarchal dynamics of the genocide in Gaza and Zionist-colonial oppression? What potential lies in explicitly queer, anti-colonial, and anti-imperialist perspectives, forms of action, and forms of organization? Together, we will discuss how to adapt our strategies to the respective local context and local complicity.

Workshop: Wen-Do
Wen-Do is not a martial art, but rather practical self-defense and self-assertion for everyday and extreme situations. In the workshop, we learn to recognize our own boundaries and how to react when they are disregarded. Wen-Do is a varied, empowering mix of technical exercises, discussions, and role-playing. And there’s plenty of fun to be had too!

-Comfortable clothing (no shoes)
-Something to drink
-Sleeping bag in a cover (we practise punches)
16 places – register at the info point!
The course is open to everyone except cis men (FLINTA* only). Unfortunately, due to space constraints, the course is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Workshop: Radio as a practice of resistance
In this workshop, we will delve into the past and present of free radio – from its roots in the anti-nuclear protests of the late 1980s in German-speaking countries to current forms of participatory radio art and political counter-publics. We will shed light on how activists conquered frequencies back then to organize protest and ask what potential for resistance still lies in this medium today. The workshop combines historical insights, audio examples and a practical examination of questions such as: What makes radio a tool of protest? What are the basic principles of free radio that differ from conventional radio? And what role does free radio practice play in the digital age?
Panel: Abortion rights and bodily autonomy
Addressing the issue of abortion under repressive political and social conditions is of fundamental importance. Productive rights are often the site of negotiation of regressive social tendencies, according to which the childbearing body is to be controlled. Due to growing pressure and restrictive laws, access to safe abortion is increasingly restricted worldwide. A development that curtails medical care and bodily self-determination. We want to talk to activists from Poland, Hungary and Mexico who are building autonomous structures and support networks for safe access to abortion and reproductive rights in places with massively repressive reproductive policies.
Workshop: Graffiti and intervention
We want to break with the gatekeeping mentality and create a counterpart to the patriarchal graffiti world. Feminist alliance and collective action practice is our basis. The aim is to share ideas, learn techniques and approaches and discuss how to deal with repression in solidarity. The workshop is aimed at all visitors, especially Flinta* people (especially beginners). We see graffiti as a fun, joint activity with spray cans (and other tools) for the co-design of public space, visualization and participation in public discourse. We form gangs everywhere!
Discussion over tea and cake: Feminist resistance in exile: Voices from Russia against authoritarianism and war
How can feminist resistance be maintained when one is forced to leave the country? At this event, an activist from Feminist Anti-War Resistance, a group founded in 2022, shares insights into her political work in exile. The discussion will focus on the challenges and opportunities of feminist organizing from a distance: How can new structures be built beyond national borders? What political and personal challenges does activism in exile entail? What does it mean to be separated from close comrades? And how does one deal with the rise of the far right in the host country after having fled an authoritarian regime oneself?
A conversation over tea and cake, with personal insights, political analysis, and reflections on feminist solidarity across borders.
Workshop: Arrest, detention, and repression—how does this affect us emotionally?
What happens to you when the cell door closes behind you? When you have to make your bed in detention and don’t know how long you’ll have to stay? When there’s a pane of glass between you and your family? When there’s no sense of security? We are two people who were arrested in 2016 during a demonstration in Basel. First, we will talk about our experiences, focusing on our feelings. Our input is intended to serve as a starting point for small group discussions. We want to talk about how such situations affect us, how they shape us in the long term, and how we as a community can support and defend those close to us.
Film Screening & Discussion: The Unreasonables – AIDS activism in Frankfurt
Germany · 2024 · 53′ · German with englisch Subtitles · directed by Lou Deinhart, Evi Rohde, Zoë Struif
The documentary film delves into the forgotten protests of the vibrant 80s/90s in Frankfurt, when activists rebelled against the repressive AIDS policy in a “Solidarity of the Unreasonables”. The protagonists of AIDS activism look back on this formative time and, complemented by rediscovered film material, a multi-layered, critical portrait of this movement emerges. A queer search by the younger generation for traces of the history of the “Unreasonables”.
Workshop: Art against loneliness
The Create and Cry Club (CCC) is a peer-to-peer initiative that creates accessible spaces for artistic expression, exchange and shared endurance. In low-cost workshops, we address loneliness, mental health and psychological stress in the most preventative and low-threshold way possible. Our offer aims to help promote genuine connections through joint creation. We will be presenting the CCC at the feminist congress in Basel, because: Healing is political. Mental suffering cannot be separated from social power relations, it needs creative spaces for solidarity, resistance and collective care!
Panel: Abolish the Racist, Capitalist, Cis-Hetero Patriarchy – Self-defense as a perspective
Convinced that we need to fight state violence (police, prisons, borders, etc.) and patriarchal violence together, in this panel we will talk about self-defense as a perspective against a violent system. Why are police, surveillance and prisons not a solution for overcoming patriarchal violence? What does self-defense mean and which population groups are granted or denied it? We will explore these and other questions together from an intersectional perspective and call for the decriminalization of (queerfeminist) self-defence and the right to life for all!
Workshop: Abolish deportation! Deportation prisons & feminist struggle
What do deportation prisons have to do with me? How can I support resistance in prisons and integrate it into my political practice? A few months ago, prisoners in Swiss deportation detention intensified their struggle against inhumane detention conditions and Fortress Europe in general. In solidarity with their resistance, various support groups have formed to work together with the prisoners for the abolition of deportation prisons. In this workshop, we want to work together to figure out why deportation prisons concern us all and how we can take action against them. Because the prisoners‘ struggle is our struggle, and an attack on one is an attack on all of us.

Workshop: Sexism & trans*phobia in the workplace
At work – especially in gastronomy – but actually everywhere, women and genderqueer people encounter devaluation, stupid remarks, ambiguous actions, demonstrations of power and assaults. How do we deal with this? The workshop offers space to listen and develop strategies together. And we want to give our anger a form – within the integrated sticker workshop.
The workshop is FLINTA* only, not accessible to endo-cis men.
